Uckfield Framing Company were awarded the coveted ‘Tradesperson of The Year’ trophy at last week’s Uckfield Business Awards ceremony. The final selection was made by category sponsor Parker Ceilings from the shortlisted companies, and announced at the Gala Award presentation evening at East Sussex National hotel on Thursday.

“It was a very proud moment for us” said Uckfield Framing Company’s managing director Tim Benians. “We had no idea we would win, in fact we don’t even know who nominated us.. we obviously have a mystery admirer out there somewhere! It could have been anyone.. we have built up such a wide customer base, not only working for local artists, businesses and the general public, but also national clients such as ITV and Universal Studios. Our customers are very loyal, and come back time and time again.”

Commenting on the award Tim said “I know it’s a cliché, but it’s all due to teamwork. We are all individuals with different talents, and we work well together to try to give the very best customer experience. Happy customers make us happy, and that’s important too!”
