Even though none of us play the game, there’s not much we don’t know about golf. We’ve framed enough photos of players, clubhouses and courses, as well as the stuff they play with, to be considered complete experts..
This week we’re framing a ball and score card for one local course, and last week it was Nick Faldo memorabilia for another.
For sheer scale, not many projects compare to the grand display case we made for a nearby golf club. Complete with mirrors, glass shelves and doors, as well as internal lighting, this one took us a few weeks from design to installation.
In fact we’re all round sportspeople here, framing everything from football shirts and cricket caps to horse racing artefacts.

So Tim, how do you stop the golf ball rolling around? A judicially placed screw or a dollop of epoxy – or is it trade secret?
Both methods previously.. I’ve used glue, and I’ve screwed them in place before. This one was siliconed
